What's happening on the Texas State University-San Marcos campus? As of January 1, 2011 Sigma Epsilon Chapter is officially off of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc suspension. The Phi Xi Omega Chapter is working to complete the necessary actions to reactivate the chapter. We are required to have the approval of our Regional Director, Gwendolyn J. Brinkley, to proceed with the reactivation. Until the reactivation process is complete, and approval is acquired from the Regional Director, there should be no expectation of campus activities for Sigma Epsilon. Interested individuals should refer to this website or the Campus Greek Affairs Board for information pertaining to the reactivation. Interested individuals should NOT, by any means, contact University faculty and staff regarding reactivation. For additional information regarding undergraduate membership, please refer to the AKA International Website. |
